About The School of St Jude
Founded in 2002 by Australian humanitarian Gemma Sisia, The School of St Jude provides free, quality education to 1,800 bright students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
With campuses across three locations and boarding facilities for all secondary students, St Jude’s employs over 300 local Tanzanian staff. The school also helps hundreds of graduates access higher education and provides volunteer teachers to over 20,000 government school students annually.
St Jude’s holistic approach empowers students to challenge the status quo, create solutions for Tanzania's 45 million people living in poverty, and become future leaders.
